IELTS Writing Task 2-এ ব্যান্ড ৯ মানের একটি লেখা কেমন হয়, তা আমরা অনেকেই জানি না। আবার মডেল আনসার পড়লেও অনেক সময় কঠিন শব্দ বা বাক্যের গঠনের কারণে পুরোটা বোঝা সম্ভব হয় না।
আজ আমরা Cambridge 16 (Test 4) Task 2 -এর একটি মডেল উত্তরকে একেবারে অপারেশন টেবিলে নিয়ে যাব! আমরা পুরো প্যাসেজটির প্রতিটি বাক্য ধরে ধরে (Sentence by Sentence) বাংলা অর্থ এবং শব্দার্থ শিখব। এতে আপনার ভোকাবুলারি এবং রাইটিং স্কিল—দুটোই একসাথে বাড়বে।
চলুন শুরু করা যাক।
প্যারাগ্রাফ ১: ভূমিকা (Introduction)
লেখার শুরুতেই টপিকটি পরিচয় করিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং নিজের মতামত জানানো হয়েছে।
- Sentence:
“It is predicted that the future of transportation lies in fully autonomous vehicles, where human drivers will become completely obsolete.”
- It is predicted that = ধারণা করা হচ্ছে যে
- the future of transportation = পরিবহনের ভবিষ্যৎ
- lies in = নিহিত আছে / নির্ভর করছে
- fully autonomous vehicles = সম্পূর্ণ চালকবিহীন যানবাহনের ওপর
- where human drivers = যেখানে মানব চালকরা
- will become completely obsolete = সম্পূর্ণ অপ্রয়োজনীয় বা সেকেলে হয়ে পড়বে
- Sentence:
“While there are valid concerns regarding unemployment and technology reliance, I believe the safety benefits and efficiency of driverless cars significantly outweigh these downsides.”
- While there are = যদিও রয়েছে
- valid concerns = যৌক্তিক উদ্বেগ / চিন্তা
- regarding unemployment = বেকারত্ব নিয়ে
- and technology reliance = এবং প্রযুক্তির ওপর নির্ভরতা নিয়ে
- I believe = আমি বিশ্বাস করি
- the safety benefits = নিরাপত্তা জনিত সুবিধা

প্যারাগ্রাফ ২: অসুবিধা বা সমস্যা (The Disadvantages)
এই প্যারায় লেখক অটোমেশনের নেতিবাচক দিকগুলো তুলে ধরেছেন।
- Sentence:
“Admittedly, the shift to automation poses challenges.”
- Admittedly = স্বীকার করতেই হবে যে
- the shift to automation = স্বয়ংক্রিয়করণের দিকে এই পরিবর্তন
- poses challenges = চ্যালেঞ্জ বা সমস্যার সৃষ্টি করে
- Sentence:
“The most significant is the displacement of professional drivers.”
- The most significant = সবচেয়ে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলো
- is the displacement = স্থানচ্যুতি (এখানে: কাজ হারানো)

- Sentence:

প্যারাগ্রাফ ৩: সুবিধা বা পজিটিভ দিক (The Advantages)
এখানে লেখক তার নিজের মতামতের পক্ষে যুক্তি দেখিয়েছেন।
- Sentence:
“However, the advantages of this technology are transformative.”
- However = যা হোক / তবে
- the advantages = সুবিধাগুলো
- of this technology = এই প্রযুক্তির
- are transformative = বৈপ্লবিক (বড় পরিবর্তন আনার মতো)
- Sentence:
“Statistics consistently show that human error caused by fatigue, distraction, or intoxication is responsible for the vast majority of traffic accidents.”
- Statistics consistently show that = পরিসংখ্যানে ধারাবাহিকভাবে দেখা যায় যে
- human error = মানুষের ভুল
- caused by fatigue = ক্লান্তির কারণে সৃষ্ট
- distraction = অমনোযোগিতা / অন্যমনস্কতা

সবশেষে লেখক পুরো আলোচনার সারসংক্ষেপ টেনেছেন।

“In conclusion, while the economic threat to professional drivers is a substantial disadvantage that must be carefully managed, the potential to eliminate human error and reduce road fatalities makes the advantages superior.”
- In conclusion = উপসংহারে
- while the economic threat = যদিও অর্থনৈতিক হুমকি
- to professional drivers = পেশাদার চালকদের প্রতি
- is a substantial disadvantage = একটি বড় অসুবিধা
- that must be carefully managed = যা সাবধানে সামলাতে হবে
